2 Million Dollar Worth in Napa
Napa, California, look back at its
ten-year anniversary of the devastating 2014 earthquake. This tragedy caused
billions of dollars in damage and it destroyed the historic First Presbyterian
Church built in 1874. The old courthouse was completely restored after the
quake shook a chunk off its front, and the top corner of the Carpe Diem
restaurant was repaired with bricks colored to match. Janice Chaidez, the
church's family ministry director, remembers the horror of that morning, as she
and her husband were told not to move. Kevin and Laura Sutter, who had only
moved to Napa six months earlier, were shocked to find the epicenter right here
in Napa. Anyway, the good thing is that the church celebrated its 150th of
resilience.
